Case Studies 998: Asus Gaming Laptop Overheating
Mr T from Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is having Asus Gaming Laptop which the temperature can reach to 90 degree celcius or even higher. He sent in for us for the cleaning and to replace thermal paste. The laptop never been serviced for the past 4 years.

After cleaning, the temperature for the laptop without stress decrease from previously 50 degree to 40 degree, which is a 10 degree lower than before.
We ran the overnight stress test and the result is succesfull. However,as its never being service in the past 4 years and the laptop was always ran under high temperature, we noticed the performance is degraded. We always advise our customer to do preventive maintenance annually.
