We received a lot of enquiries from our customer regarding the Wi-Fi speed drop at some corner of their house or the office. Most of the users subscribed to a Hi Speed Broadband service, but they realized that the speed is not up their subscription package or they only able to obtain the good speed when sitting next to the router,

This remind me about a customer, Mr J, he invest for several type of wi-fi extender for his 3 storey bungalow house, and the last router he purchased cost him few thousand but the problem not solved until he approach to us.  I told him that you might need to consider to change to a smaller house, or you may consider to pull the physical LAN cable to the location that the wi-fi speed drop, or purchase the TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi system which only cost you few hundred. At first, he feel doubt as he already spent for several type from hundreds to thousands, which he can't believe a few hundred TP-Link Deco is able to solve his problem for years.
Anyhow, after explaining to him about the product, he purchased the TP-Link Deco M4 2-packs from us. After the installation, he noticed the wi-fi speed for device which located at Ground Floor ( same floor with the modem ) is solved. At the end, he came back to us to purchase another set of TP-Link Deco M4 3 packs to solve the First Floor and Second Floor 's Wi-Fi speed issue.

As most users aware that, physical ethernet cable will definitely more stable compare to the Wi-Fi connection as the chances for Wi-Fi being interrupted will be higher. TP-Link Deco came with an optional Gigabit Ethernet port, which you may connect the devices through ethernet cable if you want a more stable connection or for the device that doesn't come with the Wi-Fi card but only ethernet port. This also able to help you reduce cost for laying the ethernet cable.

Deco M4 can be setup as a Router which create a new network from your existing network, however, we always advise the users to set it up as a access point, which extend the existing network. We will elaborate the reasons why it is better to setup as extended access point in another article.
